Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with the installation of solar PV systems, including mounting panels, wiring, and configuring systems.
- Conduct site preparation and clean-up, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, with a strong focus on electrical safety and working at heights.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a trades assistant, preferably in the electrical or solar PV sector.
- White Card (General Construction Induction card) is mandatory.
- Valid Working at Heights ticket is highly desirable.
- Basic electrical knowledge or experience is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Valid Australian driver’s license and willingness to travel within Regional Queensland.
