We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Pipelayers for a series of high-profile civil projects in and around Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled individuals to contribute to the development and maintenance of critical infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our city’s water and sewage systems.

Role Overview:

As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying and joining pipes for water mains, sewers and drains. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and reliability of Brisbane’s underground infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laying and aligning pipes for stormwater, sewage, and water systems.
• Checking slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
• Connecting pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Digging trenches using trenching tools and machinery, ensuring that pipes are laid at the correct depth.
• Inspecting, cleaning, and repairing piping systems.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer in civil construction projects.
• Relevant qualifications or tickets (e.g., RIIWHS204D Work safely at heights, RIICCM210D Install and maintain pipes).
• White Card (General Construction Induction card) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of job safety practices, as well as environmental and health guidelines.
• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
